This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, and protect your personal information in compliance with applicable laws in Algeria, specifically Law No. 18-07 relating to the protection of individuals with regard to the processing of personal data.

2. Information We Collect

As an e-commerce platform, we collect various types of data to provide our services:

A. Merchant Data (You)

  • Account Information: Full name, email address, phone number, and encrypted password.
  • Business Information: Store name, Commercial Registry, and tax information (NIF/NIS) for billing and verification purposes.
  • Financial Data: Postal (CCP) or bank account details to facilitate payments. Note that we do not store credit card numbers (CIB/Dahabia) directly; they are processed via certified payment providers.

B. Platform Usage Data

  • Technical Logs: IP address, browser type, and operating system for security and performance analysis.
  • Cookies: Cookies necessary for session management and user preferences.

C. Merchant's Customer Data

When you use our platform to sell your products, we process your customers' data (Name, Address, Orders) on your behalf. In this context, you (the Merchant) are the "Data Controller," and we are the "Data Processor."

3. How We Use Your Data

We use the collected data solely for the following purposes:

  1. Service Provision: Creating your store, processing your subscription, and managing dashboard access.
  2. Billing: Issuing legal invoices and tracking payments.
  3. Improvement & Security: Detecting technical errors, preventing fraud, and protecting the platform from cyberattacks.
  4. Communication: Sending system updates, security notifications, and invoices via email.

4. Data Sharing with Third Parties

We commit not to sell your data to any entity. However, we may share necessary data with trusted service providers solely for the purpose of operating the platform:

  • Cloud Hosts: To securely store data (e.g., Supabase).
  • Payment Gateways: To process your subscription.
  • Legal Authorities: Upon receipt of a formal judicial request in accordance with Algerian law.

5. Data Protection and Storage

  • Encryption: All data is transmitted using SSL/TLS protocols, and sensitive data is stored encrypted in our databases.
  • Access Control: We implement strict Row Level Security (RLS) ensuring that no merchant can access another merchant's data.
  • Retention Period: We retain your data as long as your account is active. Upon account deletion, we may retain certain data (such as invoices) for the legal period required by tax authorities (10 years).

6. Your Rights

Under Law 18-07, you have the following rights:

  • Right of Access: Request a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
  • Right to Rectification: Correct any inaccurate information through your account settings.
  • Right to Erasure (Right to be Forgotten): Request the permanent deletion of your account and data, unless there is a legal impediment (e.g., outstanding debts).

7. Cookies
