Our goal is to ensure a safe, reliable, and legal e-commerce environment for all merchants and consumers in Algeria. Your use of the platform constitutes your explicit agreement to this policy.
2. Prohibited Products and Services
It is strictly forbidden to sell or promote any of the following products via Ecommaps stores, in compliance with Algerian law and payment gateway policies:
- Illegal Goods: Drugs, psychotropic substances, alcohol, and weapons of any kind (including hunting weapons and ammunition).
- Counterfeit Goods: Products that infringe on the intellectual property rights of other brands (e.g., selling knock-off sneakers with global logos).
- Hazardous Materials: Fireworks, flammable substances, or prohibited chemicals.
- Suspicious Financial Products: Unregulated cryptocurrencies, get-rich-quick schemes, or currency exchange services.
- Adult Content: Any pornography or content violating public decency.
3. Information Security and Infrastructure
To protect platform stability, the following actions are prohibited:
- Cyberattacks: Attempting Denial of Service (DDoS) attacks or distributing malware (Viruses/Trojans).
- Mining: Using Ecommaps servers for cryptocurrency mining.
- Reverse Engineering: Attempting to decipher, disassemble, or copy the platform's source code.
- Scraping: Using automated software to harvest data from other merchants or their products without permission.
4. Marketing Practices and Spam
We have a "Zero Tolerance" policy for spam:
- Using platform tools to send unsolicited emails or SMS messages to customers is prohibited.
- Explicit consent must be obtained from the customer before sending any marketing materials (Opt-in).
- A clear "Unsubscribe" option must be provided in all marketing communications.
5. Integrity and Fraud
- Impersonation: Impersonating Ecommaps staff, government bodies, or other brands is prohibited.
- Fake Reviews: Manipulating product ratings or adding fake comments to deceive consumers is strictly forbidden.
6. Enforcement Actions
In the event of a violation of any provision of this policy, Ecommaps reserves the right to take the following actions without prior notice:
- Immediate removal of infringing content.
- Temporary or permanent suspension of the Merchant's account.
- Reporting to security and judicial authorities in cases of serious cybercrimes.
